@lewdismug @mafuokaoka2 To a degree. Here in the US, a lot of Gen-X identifies with the next generations struggles. Millenials seem to empathize with Gen-Z. And Gen-Z shared the plight of Gen-Alpha. Boomers united us all against them and the older Gen-Xers.

@whostolemynames @TopGyaru NTR stands for the Japanese word, "netorare". It means "be taken off" or "cheating". From what I can tell, the appeal tends to be in cheating and/or hurting the cuck emotionally.

@BasilDeMon11 @LookAtMyMeat1 By that logic, The Last Air Bender, The Legend of Korra, Black Dynamite, The Boondocks, Voltron Legendary Defender, Young Justice, Dragon's ABlood, Harley Quinn, and My Adventures WIth Superman also don't count. I don't think anyone has animated in-country for decades.

@godsensei123 @ExtremeGravy @T0talAnarchist As far I know it is rare for any animation to stay in one country. Even Anime is keyframed in Japan and then shipped to South Korea or Indonesia to be animated at cheaper studios. There are exceptions for specific scenes that need to hit JUST right, but for everything else...

@ExtremeGravy @T0talAnarchist American animation will be just fine. Each of these is an American show. They have different levels of being "grounded", but they all beat Invincible in the fight choreography department.

@furijoshi @_kikimari_ @pinknishii Her closest companion for a long time was Katherine "Kitty" Pryde aka Shadowcat. Last I heard only she could summon/wield Magik's sword... which is forged from part of Magik's soul. Not explicitly dating, but it was the 80's.

@arainydancer Animate a date montage? Or maybe some kind of blue collar work? Or a water cooler gossip session?

@hulburd_reade @AOC NASA takes a vanishingly small amount of the budget. If you cut all of NASA's funding you won't see a blip in the budget. The yardstick of going to the Moon was only financially worth it when we were fighting the Russians. Now we get more bang for our buck with unmanned missions.
