Over the years I learned that people will improve themselves on their own time. When the student is ready, the teacher appears. This means that while I kept leading them to water to get a drink, it took someone else to salt their food to make them thirsty.

Arizona improper use of public funds?
The @AZTreasury has received inquiries from concerned taxpayers regarding the Hobbs Administration’s overspending of public funds. I sent a letter to House Appropriations Chair Rep. Livingston on this as he and the committee work to correct this gross budget mismanagement.

The goal? Expose the double standard in reproductive laws. State Reps. Anita Somani and Tristan Rader say if lawmakers can regulate women’s bodies, men shouldn’t be exempt. Somani: “Let’s start policing men the same way.” The fines start at $1,008.49 and rise for repeat offenders. The bill isn’t expected to pass, but it’s fueling debate as Republican Rep. Austin Beigel pushes a competing bill to grant embryos full legal rights, which could overturn Ohio’s 2023 vote protecting abortion access.
