During the @IAF_MCC #TarangShakti24 exercise, I snagged a USAF A-10 patch with the name ‘Assam Draggins.’ Turns out, the nickname came from their WW2 stint in Dinjan, #Assam, where tough terrain led pilots to ‘drag in’ on their passes. Fascinating history!
