Love the "new" U-Bahn station Museumsinsel (Museum Island) in Berlin, inspired by Karl Friedrich Schinkel's stage set design for Mozart's Magic Flute (c.1815). Ultramarine Y3 blue by KT Color Die Farbmanufaktur, Switzerland. Looks particularly good with yellow trains approaching.

Ancient history experts, what is this, please? Sharp edges, flat-ish back, fits in palm of hand, found on a hill on the Long Mynd, Shropshire.

Brighton Pride is upon us, and will take part in the parade on Saturday (dressed in red) but I have also written something about the colour PINK (a paler shade of red, you could say) for @BrightonMuseums : https://t.co/ufwOoJAjJu

After 15 years of searching, it took me 3 days in the area to find Mary Gartside's 1819 grave. Gravestone gone, but the inscription is recorded. One small puzzle to solve before I write up the whole story. Today was a day for laying flowers. #colourhistory #pioneeringwomen
