I think I might be too familiar with your name because of one song titled Heather. But thatโs a pretty unique name, Heather.
@outer_cosmo โ Heather. For those who are fluent in English, I believe thereโd be no problem for them to pronounce my name. Because I heard some light complains (not in a bad way) from some whose tongues are not quite friendly to English, they tend to mention โHe-terโ. โ

โ Hello, Nic. Itโs pronounced like Ralisya, or Ralisha. โ
@outer_cosmo โ โ My name is pretty easy to pronounce. Just Nicholas or Nic. How do you pronounce your name? โ โ

Oh, I am curious. What is your Chinese name, if I may know? I found the fact that people have different names fascinating, especially those multicultural kids.
@outer_cosmo For my English name, yes, because itโs a very common name, Ethan. But for my Chinese name, I think some peopleโespecially those who are not familiar with Chineseโmight mispronounce it.

Beauvoirโ I am a little bit familiar with French as it is the fourth language I learned and have spoken since young, but is it pronounced as bowvwaar if I am not mistaken?
@outer_cosmo People never seem to have trouble saying my first name, but my last name? Thatโs another story. I often find myself guiding them through the pronunciation, though I donโt really mind. Anyway, Iโm Diana De Beauvoirโjust call me Diana, itโs the easiest way.

You guessed it right. They wonder why there would be a J after S. I had to explain every time that it stands as Y. Our name has the same rhyme, but I agree that yours is so much easier to pronounce. itโs lovely to meet you, Rania.
@outer_cosmo ใ
ค โ People must have a hard time pronouncing your name. I guess it depends on where theyโre fromz My name, on the other hand, is easy to pronounce. I am Rania, nice too meet you, Ralisja! ใ

I believe that no matter which language they speak, people will not have any problem pronouncing your name. Yes, pretty much, you can pronounce it as Ralisha or Ralisya. Nice to meet you, Saga.
@outer_cosmo ใ
ค Mine is pretty easy, Saga, doesn't need much punch you just can say it the way you read it. Is the Ralisja speak like Ralisha? โ

Well, hello, View. Your name is indeed simple but very unique. Now that it intrigues me, may I know your real name? Itโs nice to meet you, too, and you can just pronounce it as Ralisya.
@outer_cosmo โ โ Of course itโs easy when it comes to my nickname, it is basically just: View. But itโs a different thing when they ask for my real name, hehe. Nice to meet you, Ra..lis..ja? โ โ

I do agree that itโs easy to pronounce. Your name leaves an impression on me as it reminds me of Henry Holidayโs painting, Dante and Beatriceโ or the famous Inferno by Dante Alighieri. Itโs very nice to meet you. And yes you are right, following like Germanic, so itโs Ralisya.
@outer_cosmo I donโt think my name hard to be pronounced. Dante, the basic Dan-te, Mannheim, Auger, or say it as you please. Anyway, is the J in your name pronounced as Y, so it sounded like Ralisya?
