This was a model development and training study, and external validation is necessary. However, we have already started that work so #watchthisspace for the results on model performance in an independent dataset!

I have been waiting for this paper!! Is there a dosimetric 'cost' to heart sparing RT? It seems not, with no significant increases to other thoracic OARs following the introduction of a new DVC/OAR. 💫👏
🚨 Exciting news from @TheChristieNHS We have introduced a dose limit to the top of the heart for lung cancer patients. But does this mean higher doses to other thoracic organs? 🤔 👉 This new paper shows that’s NOT the case @RT_physics @RO_GreenJournal
