We've installed these in west Greenwich to make streets safer & more pleasant for everyone.
✅All homes are accessible by car.
🚑Emergency vehicles have access.

Vauban is a town in Germany where anyone can drive if they want to.
But the speed limit on their streets is 5mph.
And on street parking is illegal. If you want to own a car, you have to purchase a private storage space in the carpark on the outskirts of town.

And men's journeys tend to be much simpler than women's. Mostly they go to work and then go home again. Whereas women may drop the kids off on the way to the office, and then pick up the shopping on the way home. This is called trip chaining.
