We find that the cost-effectiveness of egg oral immunotherapy (OIT) for children improves as kids get older. This is because younger children have higher rates of naturally outgrowing their egg allergies. (4/7)

Remission means that children can eat the allergen freely without any allergic reactions and stop treatment entirely. Importantly, this research shows that older kids with lower levels of IgE can still benefit from treatment too✅ (2/7)
