Many heartbreaking stories have been passed down in my family, of ancestors forced from their homes in a harsh winter, leaving everything behind, their parents’ graves, ancestral homes. Babies and the elderly dying on the way lost to cold and starvation with nowhere certain to go.
"There remains one more means, which Serbia had employed very successfully after 1878: secretly burning down Albanian villages and city quarters." And now you wanna talk about "you should know what it feels like to have your land taken away". Have some shame

RT @MohammRafik: I am in tears. I am literally crying. For months I've dreamt of this moment... Can't believe it's finally over.

@nusjaemaleve This is also me tryna speak to Iliridë Albanians mostly from Tetovë/Gostivar. At some point, along the way, I find myself speaking shqipe letrare instead 😅
