His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama offered his condolences to the families of 6 Police personnel and one civilian who lost their lives in an accident in Chamba. The 6 Police personnel of 2nd India Reserve Battalion, Sakoh were on long range patrolling duties along J & K border.

Extremely sad and tragic. Naman to our 6 "shaheeds". May God Almighty give strength to their families to bear the grave loss. May the noble souls of the 6 brave-hearts rest in peace. Om Shanti.
We will always remember 6 of our fellow brothers lost their lives along with one civilian near Tissa today in a tragic accident. We pray for their souls and their family members. May God give them strength to bear this tragic loss. (1/2)
