@llm_san 🫡 imo students who directly jumped on LLMs to write code without making a real project by themselves will struggle to even understand a large codebase without LLMs.

@kenia_lekovski @lukaszstarosta Just Analyzing the code won't have long lasting effects imo. U need to get your hands dirty to "master" something. (Personal experience with some React-Native bugs, that's y I am building my basics good first)

@kenia_lekovski @lukaszstarosta Maybe you are right. BUT, if I dont know the basic fundamentals and coding patterns I would not know the thing AI gave me is most optimal / correct solution or approach or not. and its not satisfactory to use AI

@ChefEckert @hendrixejegi YES SIR. and eventually I will have to use LLMs, but why hurry. (+ I don't get satisfaction when I use LLMs too much to code )

@kanasva I use gpt/Claude sometimes to learn concepts and things. Just avoiding "CODE" with it. Making sure I know what I am doing before letting AI do it for me. :)

@dikaizm Using LLMs to learn. But not develop. Building muscle memory first. (And using LLMs heavily to build isn't satisfactory)

@wedempeople Idk about old/new fashion but I trashed it because making projects with it wasn't satisfactory. + It was just making my basics weak which would hurt me in future.

@Amaan_0mar Frr. That's something relatable. I recently completed a good project in 2-3 days with these tools but It was not satisfactory. And now I think it's not even my project.
