People have started rebuilding, removing trees from roads. Repairing roofs, doing as much as they can to save crops. Someone was walking around in my community cutting up trees for ppl without anyone asking.

Its going to be a long road to recovery. I saw concrete JPS poles which were completed uprooted. Whole roofs blown off and ended up in ppl’s yards, black drums, zinc every everywhere.

I was able to speak to my brother for about a min. Our house is mostly ok but it’s really bad and the community needs supplies, tanks lost roofs so water is really needed . The road to our community is blocked so reaching them will be a challenging.

In all the conversation about schools and grades , we are absolving parents of their responsibilty to parent, monitor, check-in attend report days , PTAs are the worse they have ever been, some schools don't even have active ones.

My mom is getting commissioned as a JP today . So happy that she is doing something for herself for once . All she has ever done is take care of us. She didn’t even take us as guests , she took her husband 😂😩

After mths of drought , expensive trucks of water and supplies , rains have come with its own struggle of frost which burns plants . Expect high prices for produce over the next few mths. Pics of my mom's little garden.

The challenge with trying to reform anything in Jamaica . we need to get away from the idea that 6 days of exams should determine a child’s future. We have lots of people who are skilled not book bright .Our advancement requirements need to be more reflecting of a modern system.

My little sister is a whole manager for expertise for a Canadian city. Who would have thought. A poor little girl from St E, 2 degrees and PMP. She worked full-time through all of those including undergrad. I wanna cry when I remember the struggles
