gets to Arrowhead Stadium safely tomorrow morning, it’s not terrible outside.

For my friends in the Kansas City area, if you've been doing social-distancing correctly the last couple weeks, the stay-at-home order shouldn't be too big a hurdle to jump. We're going to get through this together.
I tweeted about Amtrak last night and the response was 1) more than I expected; 2) Almost completely positive. While the responses aren't representative, there is clearly a segment of America yearning for more robust rail. Kansas City would be a nice spot for a regional hub.
Parked at 7th and Main. Got on the free KC Current shuttle to CPKC Stadium for about a 15-minute ride. Dropped off right at the gate. At the end of the game, got on another shuttle for 15-minute ride back to 7th and Main. No issues at all. Was fun to see other fans taking the

advances in Kansas City. 66,328 people voted on the question: 49,950 or 75%, voted yes. 16,378, or 25%, voted no.
This is up for discussion, but one of the core Kansas City experiences is tearing apart some wings from The Peanut and washing them down with a

No shame in crying today, as I said goodbye to Morrison (aka: Dude). He was ready, but that didn’t make it any easier. If we’re FB friends, I wrote a longer tribute there. See you later man!
Leaving Kansas City on-time this morning aboard

’s Southwest Chief bound for Chicago and points beyond. The Western Auto building was looking glam!
People realize they can go outside for a walk or a run and, if they practice social distancing, can still be in compliance with the stay at home order, right?
I went out for a walk after work on Oct. 30. When I got home, I made a personal goal to get out every day for the rest of the year. Made the goal today! 63 days in a row for a total of 227 miles that took about 61 hours to complete. Basically, I walked from KCMO to Ames, Iowa.
I just had a 72-minute phone call with my dad. We talked

baseball, gardening, family and pickling (I have lots of cucumbers and dill, and he’s retired). I wouldn’t trade anything in the world for that call.
The moon will be fullest at 2:33 a.m. ET on Sunday, February 9, according to NASA. So bundle up, celebrate, and get excited for the first super moon of 2020.

. Hit the patio, tune it in, turn it up, and let the lightning bugs light the night!
The KCMO public works crews did a great job along Ward Parkway! Less than 24 hours after a decent snowfall, motorists have returned to being able to drive 10MPH over the speed limit.
The number of journalists in Kansas City that Killer has mentored and championed (me included) is larger than the number of times he's called KCPD dispatch for more information.
It’s 10:10 on a Friday night and I’m sitting on the couch with my cat Morrison. He’s been on the team for the last 15 years, no questions asked. He’s getting ready to move on, and that’s tough, but he’s going to make an amazing soul wherever he lands next.
Just wrapped up tour of Art Westport! I have 2 criticisms of art fairs in KC: 1) Music is art. Let’s have some local musicians displaying their talent. 2) KC is culturally diverse, but its art fairs are not. A photo of the Western Auto building is not culturally significant.
We weren’t planning on a resod this week, but Mother Nature had other plans. 10 inches of snow and all the snow in the stadium being hauled out on the sidelines changed things. My crew did an unbelievable job. They are the BEST! Everyone is tired but we are ready. Let’s Roll!
For the Midwesterner, there is no rush from a sea-side pier or a sign-post at the summit of a mountain. Instead, Midwesterners marvel in the power of the lightning, thunder and rain of a thunderstorm.
I usually start my Crossroads/Downtown/River Market exploration from Union Station because getting to the top of this escalator is one of our city’s great reveals.
For a city that does barbecue, I think we should retire the phrase pre-treating and replace it with marinating. "Crews were out marinating the roads last night ahead of Thursday's predicted snow." I mean, both are basically salt.
Snow falling fast and temps have dropped quit a bit. Pre treating roads yesterday helped significantly and we have 300 plows out working aggressively 24 hours a day until our streets in Kansas City are clear.
Am I missing any KC steakhouses on this list: 801 Chophouse; Majestic; Capital Grille; Hereford House; Eddie V's; Stock Hill, Anton's; JJ's; Golden Ox, Jess and Jim's; J. Gilberts?
