Here is another page from the book “Harpoon on Harpoon,” which has been painstakingly recovered from the “zip” disc I was using to back up the Centris. This was from before the fire, but after the fire damage so it was not melted. It’s from the first "half" of the book. SH.

Please note, I have "survived" many times! Though sometimes it was close, and often I made it to the other side only to discover I was miles away from my intended "destination" (akin to being down an embankment, or maybe few off-ramps down the freeway). But I still made it! SH.

I am serious, if anyone has Jim Toback’s email can you ask him to stop sending me these “prank” messages about the size of my genitalia and offers to purchase foreign women. He has somehow been sending them from anonymous/“junk” accounts but I am not fooled! Nor am I amused! SH.

I still do not know if it is safe to “post” here. I had one of my students delete and “re” download the Twitter program but it still bears the mark of “X.” Frustrating. She told me that it is now all “X” but that can’t be right. Nevertheless, I am here, and fearing the worst. SH.

Of course I do not need to mention his name, which is good, because in accordance with his final wishes (expressed to me many times in recent decades), he did not want me to ever mention his name in any context. Humble. Genius. And I'll say it for us both: Friend. RIP BF. SH.
