@agillatc @imastaah 😂 hey all you can do is try I guess. Trust me, differing between first aid and medical treatments is very straightforward, ATs can grasp is pretty quickly.

@imastaah Very interesting statement…when I read it, it seems that he believes we may be clueless on the difference between first aid care and medical treatments that need to be recorded like we’re just going in there and doing everything and not documenting/reporting it 😂

@RedGanus @dbyrd_atc I introduced myself at practices and coaches said “athletic trainers are here to help you get better and help you stay in the game and will find a way to get you better but also keep you safe. If I hear that anybody isn’t respecting them you’re going to have a bad day”

@Udorn94Potter Interestingly the resistance to licensure by one opponent was that it wouldn’t require ATs at secondary schools. While that would be incredibly difficult to achieve I am wary of hospital systems providing free services without paying adequately specifically in CA.

Especially when the school district said last year “ATs aren’t required” so they just don’t have any for their entire school district.

Having worked in the diverse settings I have…I really let people know if ATs are not in some way a part of your leadership team then you should still keep looking beyond your current position. AT owned or led businesses that truly support ATs is where it’s at.
