it’s funny cause so often these tweets pick excerpts that rely on the context of the entire song to sound musically sensible. on top of that her music is literally meant to defy convention, ofc people are gonna hate on it thats like the most obvious thing to do
i watched ponyo for the first time yesterday and i cant stop thinking about it. it feels like one of those hyper-detailed adventurous dreams where you make like 5 lifelong friends while saving the planet, then you wake up from it and wish u could go back
Flicker + Hypnagogia • 2023
this was my second ever release, and the first time i ever felt truly satisfied with the end result of a musical project. it was very inspired by Vespertine by Bjork (my favourite album oat).

this album was really sick, i love this aesthetic!
the noise sections were painful though, idk if i have sensitive ears or what but i’d love to hear what noise fans feel about the noisiest parts of this album
Faraway • 2024
My third single that I also wrote, produced, mixed, and performed! This one has a moody dreamy feel like my previous one, but with more transitions and variety of textures. This is my favourite thing I’ve made so far 🖤

Flicker Lyric Video • 2024
this video was shot by my friend and edited by me (my first time editing a video!)
looking back at it, i’d change quite a few things but i’m still happy with how it turned out. i also made the font from scratch
watch here ☺️
Better Place • 2022
this was my first ever single. i still really love the song, but i also feel like i’ve gotten so much better at mixing and music production so there’s a lot of things i’d change in terms of the mix.

Lola by Loa Strana • 2024
this is my band’s first single! i mixed the whole track and played the keys on it. it’s indie and nonsensical. my favourite part is the ending

listened for the first time today and holy shit this is such a special album. the world it creates is just so entrancing and unique, it’s gonna become one of my favourite albums i think
going to a brat dance party at a club tonight. will be throwing it back to the lyrics’ fascistic celebration of narcissism and its delusions of grandeur
i gave that brat album a listen. the production is stellar and the vocal performances on xcx' part are catchy, but the lyrics' fascistic celebration of narcissism, from the delusions of grandeur to the self deprecation, is so annoyingly myopic that it sours everything for me.
im kinda regretting picking this song to cover for my show on thursday.. its weird to sing and idk how to sing it without just sounding like female thom york
im about halfway through my first listen of this - it sounds like background music recorded straight from a dream. or just something david lynch would use as a soundtrack. it sounds forgotten and distant. i like it so far
if you dont like country all that much like i do, this album is “gothic country” and is surprisingly really good... very particular atmosphere but it actually works so well
this was such a banger. such good melodies and ideas, but it would’ve been perfect if cut out some of the weaker tracks and made it shorter :’) it’s still great though
i finished it, i enjoyed it quite a bit but not sure i agree with pitchfork. also not loving how it’s two hours long and only on youtube 😭 but overall really unique experience
@onabenchinCI
wow!!! what a title. i think its gonna be one of my most streamed song of the year but the more i listen to this album i feel like half the songs will be
@paxtonology
@timmyin_
im at the end of season two and i preemptively added it to my topster because its already one of my favourite things i’ve ever seen
