In a break from my regularly scheduled Henrietta Crewe programming, in 2019 I transcribed & edited 13 letters to Henrietta's sister Annabel from Charlotte and Sidney Williams Wynn, 1837-1852. Reposting because of some v minor corrections to the intro.

As we prepare to say goodbye to the humble #caramac, we couldn't resist a quick dig through our archives. The Caramac was created in 1959 by John Mackintosh & Sons Ltd, who would go on to merge with Rowntrees of York in 1969 to form Rowntree Mackintosh

Delighted to be hosting the opening reception of the ‘Enterprising York’ conference, which happens tomorrow. Ace business historians looking at business in the city (lots of papers based on our records!) @Sally_Shearn opening the show with a talk on the records of the @JRRT1904

@paul_bower Unfortunately not, it's just an internal university event in which i am hoping to interest some people in using the archive for teaching and research. However please feel free to pass on the catalogue link to anyone who might find it useful, the trust are keen to see it used!

@paul_bower I'm afraid I don't. I'm ashamed to say i wasn't aware of his work until i started cataloguing the JRRT archive and came across (initially) some wonderful coloured posters for the Architects Revolutionary Council, and then multiple other files and mentions

🚨 We are recruiting for a part-time Project Archivist to develop the Alcoholics Anonymous Great Britain Archive here at the Borthwick. 18.5 hours per week, at university grade 6 (£35-£43k, adjusted for part time), with funding for at least 2 years.
