Brushing your teeth 🦷 🪥 Germs in the mouth multiply rapidly and often trickle down into the lungs during sleep. These germs can then cause pneumonia. Removing the biofilm from teeth with regular brushing can therefore help prevent pneumonia. And on that note I’ve got myself a new friend to help support a patient

People with a learning disability are more likely than other people to become seriously ill if they get the flu. You can have the flu vaccination at your GP surgery or at a pharmacy. It is free if you are: a person with a learning disability.

Person centred blood pressure and thermometer desensitisation. Any procedure can be scary but if you take the time to find out the persons interest you can find the right reasonable adjustments to support them to overcome there fears and anxiety .
