"Cooking with Scorpion" was one of many clever skits the Midway Creative Media department came up with! I got to play a crazy, cheezy Scorpion that time, and even better, got to swing a real metal weapon at raw meat! That last "chop" broke off the axe head and sent it flying!

Not only was that ending axe break "accidental" (or was it?!), it nearly caused a real life FATALITY as it came inches away from hitting one of the Creative Media team members! Seriously ... like, inches from ... horror. True story. I think Rigo @NinjaBoy66 was there for that.

That was another great skit concept by the Midway Media crew! With their concept in mind, they pretty much just unleashed Carlos @CarlosPesina and I to run amuck throughout the studio. We caused a lot of chaos, especially around the employees that we surprised in the cafeteria!

Those outfits are on display at NetherRealm Studio. Oddly enough, last year I unearthed a few original MK outfits (MK II Raiden and MK 3/Mythologies Scorpion) I stumbled across in a random plastic bin I had in my "Raiders-esque" storage site, and I sent them "home" to NRS.

@TonyHL2 @Arcadeology @JoshYTsui A fun-fact about the Wrestlemania cabinet art that nobody knows is that @therealsaibot helped me out by designing that side panel concept with Undertaker dramatically posed to fit its outline so perfectly. I then continued that dark, dramatic theme on the rest of the cabinet art.

@noobde Shouldn't be that difficult to get a new pic, dig up my Pentium 3, fire up Deluxe Paint to create the 256 color palettized image, import it into Image Tool, rebuild the latest source code, burn new EPROMS, and distribute 26,000+ sets to everyone that has a game. I'll call Mark.

@zpaul2fresh8 @travistyoj @jeffgerstmann That's great that you have that cabinet! I'm pretty sure the card reader works with 2K, as we anticipated people would kit 2K into '99 cabinets, but I'm not positive. I'll ask Mark if he remembers. It was too many years ago and too many lost braincells! ... Or corrupted ones 😂
