Breaking: We’re told
#Saints
coach Sean Payton himself travelled to meet with Jadeveon Clowney personally. They had dinner at Clowney’s home for a privately cooked dinner. Additional Saints coaches were there too. The Saints are going all in to convince him to come.
The NFL expanding to 8 playoff teams and Andy Dalton finally getting that elusive playoff win next week in Philly would be THE MOST HILARIOUS SAINTS SHIT OF MY ENTIRE LIFE
Most all time receptions in the first four seasons of a career by a running back:
1. Alvin Kamara 326
2. Christian McCaffery 320
3. Roger Craig 292
4. LaDainian Tomlinson 291
5. Reggie Bush 260
Three of the five played with Drew Brees. Crazy
Saints were fucking right to pick Werner over Kwon. End of discussion. That’s a great sign they know what they are doing on defense.
/ignores Payton Turner being terrible
Marcus Williams fucked up. its going to eat away at his soul all off season. don't feel bad for him. feel bad for drew who FINALLY got a defense, and in the most important moment, they shoved a rail road spike into his heart.
So ESPN’s
@minakimes
straight up came out and said that without Michael Thomas the
#Saints
have the worst receiver group in the
#NFL
. And ya know, I’m not even sure I can get mad or disagree.
The 2019 Saints draft is already AMAZING
1st- Marcus Davenport
3rd- Teddy Bridgewater
4th - Eli Apple
That’s young DE, future Qb and starting CB at locked in cost for 2 years. That’s a GOD DAMN A+.

This is the best I’ve ever seen Taysom Hill play. He was incredible today. We always knew he could run but I feel like this is the first time he’s put it all together as a QB
Saints twitter is the pettiest group on earth...and
@Cantguardmike
is the PERFECT receiver for us. This man is killing the Vikings and we are loving it.
Give Will Clapp a ton of credit. He was forced to come in at center in the two minute offense unexpectedly and every play was out of the shotgun. That had disaster potential bc he had no prep but every snap was pretty much perfect and his pass pro was impeccable.
The Eagles losing their bye, to 8th seed Saints and having a potential top 5 pick turn into an NFT would be as horrible emotionally scaring for Eagles fans as the No Call was to us. They’d never get over it. I’m here for it
If you’re a Saints fan going to the game Sunday: per Sean Payton the Cardinals are a heavy pre-15 second play clock adjustment team like the Rams. So critical to be loud as soon as they get in the huddle. Please RT
I know some of you are majorly relieved while others are sorely disappointed re: Deshaun Watson. But either way you should feel good that Mickey Loomis will spare no expense or energy to make sure he assembles the best possible football team. Whatever is next will be fun.
so
@nick_underhill
pod is really interesting.said Saints offered Payton more $, could take year off to try and keep him( which we knew) BUT It’s reminder Gayle ain’t afraid to flex the check book and if Payton really does leave door open Gayle will try 2 run through it with CASH
There is a way too large number of Saints fans who were THIRSTY for Taysom Hill Era to start. And y’all shrug that Brees is back. Y’all are insane and deserve about 10 years of Browns level suck to appreciate 3 straight division titles
Mark Ingram’s story arc from hated draft bust to beloved member of best RB tandem in NFL was fun as hell to watch. Interesting relationship he had with fans since 2011.
We’ve been lucky to root for a team that’s been VERY successful since 2006. A lot of bandwagoners have jumped on during this period. But now your fanhood will be tested a bit. Are you going to bail if we can’t compete for a title? Cause this podcast is
#whodat
for life
We are told Jameis Winston is working out with Ty Montgomery, Tre’Quan Smith and possibly other Saints receivers this week at Jay Glazer’s Unbreakable Performance Center in Hollywood ⚜️
Tebow getting cut should remind everyone that Taysom is a fucking unicorn. To play a bunch of different positions and be QB AND play special teams well enough to get 20 million. You won’t see it again For long time

I want f***ing side by side videos of the non PI call tonight and the PI call from this past Sunday and I want to know how they hell they are any different.
How to affect Rams Sunday: be loud as soon as play clock starts (39 seconds) when Saints are on defense. It’s critical to start disruption immediately with head set play call. They like to get up to the line early so McVay is still in Goff’s headset until 15 seconds. Please RT
You could argue OPI on the TD. There’s a push off and a case for it. But I don’t want to be labeled as the fan base that complains about calls because that cheapens how unspeakably awful the no call was
Sean Payton attempting to play 2 QBs, occasionally simultaneously is so on brand for him. It’s Arrogant, reckless, with a dash of IDGAF. I am HERE FOR THIS YALL
#saints
If you're going to go after Williams for the last play (it was awful), be just as mad that Trey hendrickson coudln't finish a sack that would have likely ended the game earlier in the drive. then remember they're both rookies and the future looks bright in NOLA
The Dallas blueprint to beat the Saints seems problematic.
1- totally kick Saints OL( playing 3rd game in 11 days) ass for 4 quarters
2-have Saints WRs drop bunch of critical throws
3-get 3-4 huge calls to go your way
4- win 13-10.
Doesn’t seem easily copied, call me crazy
Lattimore gets all the love, deservingly so, but Saints landed a goal mine with Ken Crawley. The guy is a fantastic corner. What a land by Saints as an undrafted guy -AJ
1. 1st play call was run. Brees checked out bc of zero blitz. If screen is thrown better, MT walks in
2. Did you watch o-line block Suh/Donald?
3. Play to TLL was brilliant. Only blatant no call saved Rams*
4. Stop pretending you know more than best play caller in NFL history
The absurd ending has this silver lining: Cam Jordan’s stat padding on that final drive put him in the conversation for NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
If the Saints get Alshon Jeffrey, he’s the missing piece and we’re winning the Super Bowl. If he goes elsewhere, he’s washed, he sucks, and whoever got him will regret it.
The Saints D did EVERYTHING wrong the first 3 quarters and then some...but when it mattered most, when we needed them MOST Cam Jordan and the GANG came through. SAINTS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the Saints did what the Packers did with unvaccinated Aaron Rogers , Goodell would make sure the Saints didn’t have a draft pick for the rest of Joe Biden’s Presidency
Rewatched Saints-Eagles playoff game on my flight home from Seattle, and the Saints OL was straight TRASH in the playoffs. Here’s super hot take: Brees wasn’t In decline he was actually almost saving sinking ship w/his quick release and only throwing to Thomas. —
@SaintsForecast
Whether or not the official was part of a conspiracy, it is TERRIBLE optics for the NFL to allow a former player to officiate for the team he played for, especially at home. It also doesn't discount the fact the officiating was awful on Thurs. that is incontestable. period.
Loomis and Payton being petty FOREVER toward NFL. It’s just so God damn GLORIOUS. The rest of world might have moved on from 2012. Sean and Mickey AINT NEVER LETTING THAT SHIT GO.
Some of y’all hating on Taysom Hill like he’s not fit to be an NFL backup… yet I’m watching Baker and Ben tonight stink up the joint with real NFL talent receivers.
First I was giddy for
#systemcorner
. Then I would’ve done anything for the Jimmy Graham reunion. I even talked myself into loving the Suh idea. None of it worked out.
And yet here I am, on my knees, for Patrick Peterson.
