Alongside Israel's deadly 'Iron Wall' military raid in the northern West Bank, a widespread Israeli incitement campaign has emerged, particularly on Telegram. This campaign calls for the expulsion of Palestinians and labels them as 'Nazis' Here are some of the key posts Sada Social has monitored over the past few days.

While a journalist, a friend of Sada Social, was designing on #Canva during his coverage of the prisoner exchange deal, he suddenly found that Canva was no longer displaying design results. Instead, he received a notification stating that ‘the result doesn't meet our policies.’ Sada Social investigated the matter, using the same photo, and got the same result. So, are we now adding this site to the list of those biased against Palestinians?

Palestinian Digital Rights in January 2025: Between Restrictions and Complicity In the first month of 2025, Sada Social documented more than 350 digital violations related to Palestinian digital content, with 43% occurring on Meta's platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, and Messenger), 35% on TikTok, 15% on X, and 7% on YouTube. Additionally, a total of 470 digital security violations on various social media platforms were recorded, including: • 17 cases of gender-based digital violence, • 390 posts of hate speech and incitement between Palestinians, linked to the Palestinian Authority’s "Operation Homeland Protection" in Jenin, • 3 cases of fraud and scams via social media, • 4 cases of identity theft. Journalists accounted for 40% of the total digital and digital security violations, ranging from the deletion of their news content to the escalation of incitement and hate speech directed against them. Regarding Israeli incitement on social media platforms, Sada Social documented 292 cases of Israeli incitement without counting the number of times the post was repeated or shared. The incitement ranged from calls against the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military operation in the West Bank, and settlement calls, as well as continued incitement against Palestine supporters worldwide. In January 2025, Sada Social observed numerous violations, complicity, and breaches on social media platforms. Major companies significantly cooperated with the Israeli occupation, raising questions about their commitment to human rights policies. Sada Social emphasizes the importance of sustained pressure and legal and ethical accountability for major tech companies to prevent their involvement in human rights violations. The center also calls on these companies to enhance transparency in their policies and revise their systems to protect freedom of expression and support users' rights. Furthermore, Sada Social highlights the urgent need for the implementation of international laws in digital spaces to protect individuals and communities from exploitation and breaches by powerful entities and governments. Sada Social urges the United Nations and international bodies to enforce these standards and uphold human rights across digital platforms. Full report:
