#SacDA #SacDACaseofInterest Defendant Sentenced for Child Sexual Assault, Child Pornography The Honorable Kenneth Brody sentenced Jonathan Dale to 36 years and 8 months to life in prison. On December 13, 2024, a jury convicted Dale of communicating with a minor for purposes of engaging in lewd behavior, two counts of lewd acts upon a child, committing sex acts with a child under 10 years old, two counts of forcible lewd acts upon a child and possession of child pornography. The jury found true allegations of substantial sexual conduct, and the use of obscene matter in commission of the offenses. The Court also found true aggravating factors. Under current California law, Dale (age 49) will become eligible for release at an Elder Parole hearing once he reaches the age of 50 and only serves 20 years of his 36-year to life sentence. With his in-custody credits, that will be in approximately 12 years. Read more here: @sacsheriff

#SacDA #SacDACaseofInterest Defendant Sentenced for 12 Counts Child Sexual Assault On January 24, 2025, the Honorable Tami Bogart sentenced Vernon Solomon to 62 years in prison. On November 27, 2024, a jury convicted Solomon of eight counts of committing lewd acts upon a child and four counts of forcible lewd acts upon a child. Under current California law, Solomon (age 35) will become eligible for release at an Elder Parole hearing once he reaches the age of 50 and only serves 20 years of his 62 -year sentence. With his in-custody credits, that will be in approximately 18 ½ years. Read more here: @sacsheriff

Justice for Angel – Sign Our Petition to Stop the Early Release of Angel’s DUI Offender! Angel was 16 years old when her life was tragically altered. Defendant Devin Calderon had a 0.22% blood-alcohol-content when she drove her truck into Angel as she was walking her dog and fled the scene. Calderon later returned while officers were investigating and collided into a marked patrol vehicle. Angel was placed on life support in a medically induced coma with brain swelling and severe brain trauma. Angel cannot communicate and must be in a wheelchair or in bed. Angel can breathe on her own, but needs to be fed with a tube in her stomach. Calderon Sentenced: 8 years in prison on 3/27/23, of which she would be required to serve a minimum of 4 years.
