Except it didn’t. Yoshinori Kitase, the literal director of Final Fantasy VII, said at Otakon that his favorite addition in Rebirth was that he finally got to explain what Loveless is. Crisis Core gave you quotes from it, but quotes mean nothing when you don’t have the full picture. That would be like saying you understand all of Blade Runner just because you read the “Tears in rain” monologue online, instead of actually watching the movie.
Yes. Loveless got fully fleshed out in Crisis Core, you know, Zack's game? In which the acts of Loveless line up a lot with Zack and Aerith's story. Aerith is "Loveless" as her lover never returned but she continues to wait, knowing they will meet again. pink dress, forget-menot

@Lunamagic2000 @gatemcgateson @steusmotus Literally no one said that. That was just the media trying to paint the fans as idiots. We all knew it had incomplete VFX. But the filming was done, meaning that the heavy lifting was already taken care of.

Going just off of live action film debuts, Nolan and Snyder gave us: Scarecrow Ra’s al Ghul Watchmen Wonder Woman Flash Aquaman Cyborg Doomsday Martian Manhunter Justice League Deathstroke New Gods Whether people like it or not, every future take on these characters is going to be compared to what Nolan and Snyder did, as they were, from a cinematic perspective, the blueprint. #RestoreTheSnyderVerse

@snyder_all This is honestly my biggest concern in the admittedly unlikely event that ZSJL 2/3 happen. That the performances won’t be anywhere near what they were in the first three movies due to how they were gaslit into thinking that they didn’t understand the characters.
