I started 2024 in a rough place feeling terrible in myself and hating what I saw in the mirror. At 37, the thought was starting to creep into my mind that if I didn't fix things soon, it wouldn't be long until it was too late. Hell a 20 minute walk had me sweating and out of breath. I got myself in the gym, got myself into a caloric deficit and spent the entire year researching to make sure I maximized everything I could. Fast forward a year later and although my fitness journey has just begun, I feel like a new man and all those negative thoughts are gone. @Ryanwil05076171 @afowler06 Nah, just genetics. I have it, both my sons do, my sister, my mum and I'm pretty sure my grandad showed signs too. It's just better diagnosed and understood today than it was even 20 years ago.

@Pirat_Nation I'm quite content with my 34" 165hz 1440p Ultrawide Samsung G5. Of course, when I do decide to upgrade in 2026 (giving my son this monitor with his first PC on his 13th bday) I'll 100% be picking up an OLED then.

@AutixTheCore @badmoose01 @PassionOwl263 @Pirat_Nation I've seen that the game runs quite decent at max settings at 1440p with a 4070. If you're using that card at 4k, that's your problem right there. It's not a 4K card and never was.

@Pirat_Nation It's only an extreme price investment if you choose to do so. Can also get into PC gaming for less than the price of a console and find enjoyment out of it. That said, whatever way you choose to approach entering into PC gaming, the investment is always worth it.

It's difficult to say how much extra work it would have been for them outside of this as they've shown us nothing. I'm not even sure if they're trying to make players look like they do irl.

@MrFreemannnnnnn @Dann_Fry_TZ @Pirat_Nation It's the first time they've switched engines if I'm not mistaken. They misjudged how long this switch would change. Adding women is mostly just adding more leagues and putting a few barriers between them and the mens game. I can't see this adding too much dev time honestly.
