@thestinkeye @DrNeilStone I volunteered for one of the trials which ran for several months before the full vaccine roll out. The trial continued after full roll out to the general population to monitor side effects. Facts matter.

@JohnnyBurns1 Interestingly, we once set the motion for the Belfast Trust schools’ debate: “It’s time to stop screening for breast cancer”. A very challenging discussion followed and the motion was carried. That’s not to say I agree, but asymptomatic screening is not as simple as many suppose.

@NHSEnglandNMD It is quite wrong for someone in your position to comment in this manner on a newspaper article. If there is evidence of wrong doing by doctors, the correct action is to examine the *facts* not unattributed allegations and deal with any concerns through the GMC, not social media.

@RossScottManley @Domsball Rubbish. I cycled to work (7 miles each way) for over ten years before I retired at age 65. Using an e-bike made it easy (wore my work clothes, not lycra). It was rarely cold and with the right clothes, rain is not an issue. What is boring is sitting in stationary traffic.
