A walk to get me some fresh air & exercise to help with my recovery. Suzy ran hill reps while I held her jacket, looked out for cars & offered words of encouragement. 2 more weeks before I can run. @RunComPod

As Suzy ran intervals on the beach at North Berwick I sat on a rock holding her jacket and water bottle. Another 3 & 1/2 weeks before I can run but nice to get some fresh air & offer words of encouragement. @RunComPod

@DeeringRob @highburyparkrun Well done on your 150th. Maybe if you try running a bit faster next Saturday you'll get the time you want. Tonks inspired words of encouragement 😂

I might be laid up on the sofa but I can still sign up for races 😬 February and March races are out but thereafter I should be back to chasing PBs @RunComPod

@PaulTonkinson @RunComPod Took me a while to run without holding my shoulder funny after the op. Hopefully this time round I'll be aware of it and trust the repair more

@PaulTonkinson @RunComPod No pain yet as the nerve blocker hasn't worn off. I found Running Commentary just over 4 years ago when I was recovering from the reconstruction op. Every cloud has a silver lining

1st run with my new earbuds, what did I listen to? @RunComPod of course! Had to reduce the pace & caw canny due to ice & snow underfoot. Sensible head stays upright. Some would say sensible head stays on the sofa, but it was too beautiful a day not to run.

Listened to @RunComPod Holiday Special Part 1 on today's dog walk. Nice to get a mention. 12.5k is a real distance, honest 😂. Kirkintilloch 12.5k Road Race every February, 11 hills of chilly fun!

First race of 2025 done, Lenzie Jog 8.4k in beautiful sunshine, dry and freezing conditions 🥶. A bit icy underfoot in places but really well marshalled. Great to be running races with Abbie again. @RunComPod
