This was always the best case scenario for us. Easily makes us the best G5 conference in the country.
The Mountain West and Pac 2 are believed to be working on merging under the former Pac 12 banner for 2025 and beyond. Wazzu/OSU have a 2 year grace period to reform the conf. and potentially recover the CFP autobid. Interesting note, the conf. has discussed potential

Thought #9: Better community support . Yes, Nevada has been afflicted by poor performances as of late. You could also argue that Nevada has been mediocre at best for about the past decade (with the exception of Jay Norvell’s tenure from ‘18 - ‘21). Thread continues below 👇🏼.
