Here's the MC + Confidence Intervals for the NDX RSI on the Daily.
Ideally I'd like to see a >2 on the 95th%, but it's not a dealbreaker.
A while back I posted about an RSI-based system running on the

at the 1H timeframe.
Took the code and tried it on Daily - Not too bad!
MC and PS looked pretty good as well. Will be running this one in demo for a while to evaluate.

I made a quick a MA50/MA200 crossover system, as preached by

The concept is simple.
MA50 crosses over MA200 = Buy

Added one filter, and a static SL/TP.
50/50 Walk Forward.

On the topic of Monte Carlo and Confidence Intervals - Here's a better one.
This is our NDX CR system, based off an MA crossover.
The ratio at 95th is 5.1, and at 99th we are still at >3.
Keep it simple.
For those interested.
Here's the MC + Confidence Intervals for the NDX RSI on the Daily.
Ideally I'd like to see a >2 on the 95th%, but it's not a dealbreaker.

I was chasing the perfect algorithm, while I should have been focusing on the perfect portfolio.
I used to think adding more conditions to a trading strategy made it better.
It took time (and many losses) to discover:

So we've looked at the 10/20/200MA method for the 3M, 5M and 10M timframes on the NASDAQ.
In my opinion, none of these systems are fit to trade.
Although we started to see some bettering for the 5M and the 10M, we're still not checking all the boxes for me.

This is the FTSE, which I have ran live since Nov-23, and in Demo since Nov-22.
The FTSE trades ~1 time a month, but is still racking up profits. I run this with a contract of ~390EUR, and with a profit of 101EUR since November, this comes out to ~25% ROI in 6 months.
