From January 13-16, SPF welcomed a delegation from the Thai Ministry of Education, led by Deputy Permanent Secretary Phichet Phophakdee, for a visit to Tokyo and Yokohama. The delegation met with the Vice Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as well as representatives from the Education Department of Yokohama City; visited Tsurumi Elementary School, which supports Japanese language education for non-Japanese students; and visited the NPO Connection of the Children, which seeks to build connections between the people in Japan and the international community.
