@PLPercussionist @CandidZenn @CaudilloNuclear So you can't explain why you think women are entitled to the protection of random men, got it.

@PLPercussionist @CandidZenn @CaudilloNuclear I don't agree that random women deserve to be protected by whatever men are in their vicinity. What now?

Why do you think men are obligated to act as unpaid bodyguards to any woman who happens to be in their vicinity? I have intervened at times when someone needed help, luckily I never ended up getting shanked. I will intervene in the future if I happen to see a situation where I can help, but Daniel Penny's treatment has rightfully dissuaded a lot of men from thinking that way. No stranger is ENTITLED to your protection.

@KILLTOPARTY Im potentially okay with tattoos on women from the waist up. It's not ideal but beggars can't be choosers, depends on the tat, etc But leg tats on a woman are just a bridge too far.

@treblewoe You're going to "harden your heart" people for something that occurred before they were born and that they had nothing to do with? Youre unbelievably retarded.

You know that many government workers lost their jobs as well for refusing forced vaccination? But regardless, you blame every schmuck doing some random job for whatever happened during covid? Someone I know personally who lost his job for refusing the covid shots, worked repairing trucks and equipment for the Forest Service. Fuck that guy right? You have the intellect of a donut hole.

Phenotype = essentially, appearance. There's some women that look quite young, ie 24 but looks 16, or whatever. This woman is arguing that a man who is attracted to a 24 year old woman who could pass for 16 (for example), are closet pedos; that they're attracted to this woman SPECIFICALLY because she looks young. So the counterargument from Paleochristcon is basically -- if the men who find this woman attractive are pedos, then the only way she can avoid dating a pervert, is to date men who are NOT attracted to her.

I agree that people should generally date in their own age range, but I have to address that last point because its such a common thing for younger women to say, "why 'can't' he get a woman his own age." Let me clarify this for you -- a man in his 30s who can attract women in their early 20s, can "get" whoever he wants. He simply doesn't want a woman in her 30s. He he wanted one, he could get one. I hate to analogize human beings to cars, but it's like asking why a man who drives a Lambo can't get a Honda. The Honda would be a smarter choice, but not having one has nothing to do with being unable to get one.

@amytheartist @jazzyjeth Dont really care if you read it or not, but that's the reality of the situation. Most men and most women don't care what the other half thinks about this sort of thing. Isn't the main point of friction on this sort of thing in general?

I basically agree that it's lowbrow/tasteless/whatever, but it's also not that serious. --Driven by dick/want to get hard from a burger ad - There's a line in mens' minds between "she's pretty, I like seeing that" and actual arousal. I think you know this. --Women's account/don't need to represent men's point of view -- that's fine, but most men don't really care what you think about it. That's kind of the point. --Sexual exploitation -- give me a break, nobody put a gun to her head. Tons of women do onlyfans. I go to the beach here in Florida and a regular thong is the most conservative form of swimwear you see on the vast majority of women. A lot of women like to flaunt and a lot of men like to look. It feels vulgar to spell it out but there it is. --A significant number of men have felt like masculinity has been under assault, like they're not allowed to be men without being scolded for it, etc. That's the bottom line. As I said, I don't care for it, but it's a small indicator of a wider trend.

@SouthHampUpper1 @BuckSexton "No job allows that in the private sector" -- i get 32 paid days annually at the company I work for, plus holidays. My friend who recently became a CPB agent gets 13, and He makes $60k.

@Mimi_Florida @BuckSexton @DOGE They need to abolish the Social Security Administration and Social Security. Shut it down, eliminate SS tax, stop the payouts and put any remaining balance towards the national debt. Problem solved, won't need to try and reach them by phone anymore because they won't exist.

Clearly cuts are needed, but these lying, low-effort talking points that make sweeping assertions are just pathetic and frankly undermine the effort to reduce waste and overhead. I can tell you the reason that several federal workers I know are reluctant to take the buyout -- theyre concerned that replying "resign" to an email doesn't constitute a legally binding agreement and that Musk or whoever will screw them after. The fine print does indeed seem to suggest that the terms can be altered at a later date. -"used to making $100,000+ a year" - false. Look at base+locality by region, not the raw average. The majority do not make $100,000+. Maybe in DC, definitely not nationally. -"doing little to no actual work" - prove it? -"great healthcare and benefits" - prove it? Compared to what? -"in a job they believe is guaranteed for life" - probably true -"and makes them part of something they can make sound important at parties" - mostly false. If you think some random federal employee who does HR or IT, or security, or admin, thinks this, you haven't met too many normal people.
