When you call your 85 yr old mom who’s in a hospital on lockdown after breaking her hip so has had no visitors for 2 wks and all she does is tell you how wonderful the nurses are and how great the hospital food is - we should all be as positive as my mom is. 👍

Eddie Shack was my neighbour & once after a winter storm I mentioned to him how much damage it did to the trees in my backyard. Next day it was all gone. I had no idea who did it until Ron Ellis told me Eddie brought a chainsaw over & did it himself. He was one of a kind. 🙏
The Maple Leafs are deeply saddened by the passing of Eddie Shack.
A three-time all star and four-time Stanley Cup champion, Eddie entertained Leafs fans on the ice for nine seasons and for decades off of it. He will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts are with his family.
