@lippyent It was a "treat to sit in the front between my Mom & Dad since sitting in the back I was always stuck between my older sister and brother since I was the shortest and youngest. Things changed once there was a 4th child! Finally a station wagon solved the problem.

@lippyent Florence Mildred was my Grandmother's name. She was born in the 1890's. My other Grandmother's name was Neva and she was born in 1903. Both are "old" family names.

@Col2Vintage My first car was a 1960 Falcon. My Dad traded his Mom's table radio for it. I think I got the better of the deal. Dad made me do points, plugs and a ring job (he said he'd help me with that--gave me a Chilton's manual). He watched my every step. Wish I still had that car.

@wiseconnector Both and one was a hit-and-run. Since I wasn't injured the cops wouldn't come. Passenger as a kid in the 50's when a truck ran into our station wagon during a rain storm back in Georgia. Hit-n-run was in California about a year ago.

@wiseconnector No, but I've been RIF'd. (reduction in force). 20% of us were let go. Best thing that ever happened to me. The stock of this company closed today at $2.29. I went on to have a very satisfying career somewhere else; now I'm retired.

@rawsalerts There is no excuse for not having emergency medical services nearby. If nothing else, why didn't someone in attendance call 911. I don't care who it is; this is unacceptable behavior on the people in attendance to not realize this was serious and he needed medical help.
