Training LLM's on human brain Quasars are the brightest objects in the universe.
Joined June 2024
Today marks a big step for me I left one of the world’s leading AI labs to build something of my own. After struggling to find a place where my ideas could truly take shape so I decided to start my own "SILX INC". We’re introducing a new series of models called Quasars, and I’ve written a paper on our fresh approach to AI. The foundation of current models is flawed neural networks alone aren’t enough. What makes humans different from animals, even though both have neural systems, is our neocortex. It’s the part of the brain that allows us to use structured thought, make decisions, and reason. That’s why my team comprised of brilliant PhD researchers and I are working to create a digital neocortex. By combining neural networks with structured thought, our goal is to create AI that can think in a way similar to humans. Our first step? We’ve already developed Temperature-Guided Reasoning (TGR) and Guided Sequence of Thoughts (GSoT), which we’ll explain in detail in an upcoming paper and technical report. This is just the beginning stay tuned as we roll out our Quasar models!

@theadrianm_ questions : Did you ever work for FAANG? Do you have a fancy education background? If the answer is no, you have a 0.0001% chance of getting in!

@RaphaelDabadie @kimmonismus @tsarnick @btibor91 @DaveShapi @ai_for_success You know what? he is right. I spent the last years of my life working as an AI researcher, even at a top level. but dude these parrots are just yapping machines. Should I wait for o3 to think for years just to find a cure for cancer? How much does that cost lol
