In May we lost "Uncle Bobby" at his Celebration of life Al waved me over to his table, "You did a good job carrying Bobby's suitcase for all those years - it's time you suck-up to me now," he said in his patented Al Unser laugh! "You can call me "Uncle Al" now!"

Sad to hear that Betty Rutherford passed away earlier this morning. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother. Betty & Johnny met at IMS in 1963 when she was a nurse at the track and JR was a rookie - they married a couple months later. Thoughts & prayers to friends & family.

A.J. & Anne Fornoro hosted Robin, Tim Coffeen & myself for lunch at the race shop.
Takeout in styrofoam boxes from Charlie Browns - sloppy joes, cheeseburgers, chips AND Pepsi - best meal, conversation & stories I could ask for.

We lost our pal Greg Moore on Oct 31, 1999.
One of the kindest, wittiest, coolest people I've ever known. I was very fortunate to work with/be around him from 1996 thru 1999 - just 4 short years.
He could make you laugh or light up a whole room.
