The past weeks have made clear to us that we must do some thinking and stepping up in addressing racism and inequality. We’re working on how we can create sustainable, meaningful change and development at St Helen’s – this will take time but we’re determined to make progress.
We've been bottling up our excitement on this for MONTHS but we can now very proudly share that extremely talented U6 student Alice (Head Girl 2019-20) reached the Woodwind Final of

Here’s our school dog Teasel - she sets a great example for arriving at school with boundless enthusiasm, greets girls, staff and visitors with a wag and a favourite toy, tries to solve a ‘sad moment’ by sitting on a foot plus hoovers cookie crumbs to great effect!

“Hello. Teasel here. I’m missing my pals at St Helen’s but have been keeping busy; the daily walk is the highlight but also tried making pastry, completed a jigsaw, ordered some watercolour pencils, chatted to friends and family via video call and played cards. What about you?”
Take a bow - to cast, crew and all the musicians, you created something wonderful with your production of My Fair Lady. Wishing you all a well deserved rest this weekend, thank you
It's an odd day for everyone but our outgoing U6 prefect team are here for each other, finding a moment to smile and celebrate their year as school leaders
