Congrats Pax! Strange to say that it isn’t surprising to see this happen because every game we know he has the ability to go off like this.
Readers from Iroquois, McLean and LaSalle County emailed about Seneca's Paxton Giertz. They said I had to go see him play...and they were right. Giertz was great, scoring 43 to beat Beecher. He's now 49th in Illinois history with 2,362 career points.

Amazing!
This was Paxton Giertz 22nd point in his game tonight in the first half. Giving him over 2000 points in his varsity career! Congrats to Paxton. He finished the game with 26 points giving him 2005 points in his career!

Congrats to Paxton! Can’t wait to see all of the great things he does this year and then in college! He truly put in the work and earned this.
Very excited for his future! This boy did it right! 3 sport athlete for 4 years. Excelled at every sport. He is a prime example of if you are good enough, they will find you! Didn't have to play years of travel ball to get there. Full ride to a very prominent D2 institution

Casey Clennon did his thing at the all star game yesterday. Went 3 for 3 and won MVP. No surprise here.
