Not sure Nasir, Bekri, Tayi, and Lawrence had a marching band when they arrived in Aqaba!

Yesterday the riders reenacted the Arab Revolt attacks on the Hejaz railway, a true tribute to Nasir, Bekri, Tayi, and Lawrence and their astonishing story. An incredible shot by Nick Jackson

Our incredible riders have done amazingly well over the past few weeks, travelling 1100km on camelback through the Saudi and Jordanian desert. We're so proud of them, and hope you are too! To show that, visit and donate to help ex-Special Forces members.

Here our 4 riders are pictured with a descendant of Auda abu Tayi, one of the leaders of the original desert journey. We’re proud to be honouring Tayi, as well as Nasir, Bekri, and Lawrence on our Trek, and moments like these make it even more special.

As the Trek comes to a close, we would like to once again thank Defender @mynmlandroversa for their excellent training and vehicles. Without their help we would have been unable to undertake this epic journey, and we’re truly very grateful. The perfect car for off-road driving.

Here the riders & their camels are on the tracks of the Hejaz railway, which used to run from Damascus to Medina under the Ottoman Empire. We’re proud to be travelling through such a historically rich part of the world on our Tribute Trek. Support us at

Incredibly, this map is T.E. Lawrence’s sketch from his journey with Nasir, Bekri, and Tayi in 1917. We have been following this route as faithfully as possible, and are now just two days away from arrival in Aqaba.

Incredible to think how unchanged this landscape is from when Nasir, Bekri, Tayi & Lawrence undertook their journey 108 years ago. Support us as we continue to honour this historic journey and raise money for ex-Special Forces members and their families.

We have committed to collecting samples of sand from Fajer, Al Jawari, Bayir, and Aqaba during our journey. After the Trek, the team will meet in Dorset to scatter these sands on T.E. Lawrence's grave. We would appreciate others showing their appreciation:
