For the second year in a row, Saint Elizabeth Foundation Ambassadors, SE staff, senior leadership and the Erie St. Clair Service Delivery Centre have organized and set up the Giving Fence. Located along Sandwich Street in the heart of Windsor’s west end, the Giving Fence has gloves, Saint Elizabeth Foundation toques, scarves, blankets, backpacks and other cold weather essentials that folks are welcome to take if they are in need. To wrap up our 115-year anniversary celebrations we are sharing the amazing impact from our Legal, Privacy, and Compliance Team and the hope and happiness they brought to local women impacted by homelessness. Earlier this month, the team assembled shoeboxes filled with items for the York Region chapter of The Shoebox Project for Women. The charity supports women impacted by homelessness with a mission to uplift and empower women who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness through in-kind support, education, and community participation. The shoeboxes prepared by our Legal, Privacy, and Compliance team included a mix of essential, everyday items, small luxuries and a personal, handwritten message of support.
