Side note, Sarabi’s design bugs me cause they never translate her interesting head shape into cgi. In both Mufasa and the 2019 release. There’s a smidge of thickness to her design but not enough to make her stand out.

I think people should casually make pitch bibles for their oc's/ stories just because. Not even to present to someone but just because putting together ideas and relationships like that is so helpful for how you want characters to interact with each other.

I love mythology but I think artists need to acknowledge that not every myth is some open source thing for people to use freely. Some need to realize that at the end of the day, these are or were the beliefs and religion of a group of people and that needs to be respected.

Lackadaisy is honestly the culmination of what I want out of adult animation. It’s fairly subdued and calm( aside from Rocky lmao). A lot of adult shows are balls to the walls energy, full of gore and swearing. Which, I enjoy as much as anyone else but I also like variety.

I used to think that the reason why animal Disney characters had those eye marks/shadows was because of aesthetics. Which, they totally are, not all characters have them. But they also act as anchors for animators to keep facial shape and spacing on point.

One thing I like about lion king 2 is how it’s implied that most of the Outsiders’ food is given to Kovu. He’s much more well fed than the others, everyone else is skin and bones. Especially compared to Nuka, who’s at least a year older than him. That mane is scant!

I really like how herons sunbathe.
What's an adaptation or feature of an animal that's really, REALLY underrated? I'm talking stuff that no one thinks of at first when they think of the creature?. For me it's the red "sweat" of hippos. It has both antibiotic AND sunscreen properties.
