#SDState began work on its #bioprocessing initiative 6 years ago. In the POET Bioproducts Center, the momentum is already making a difference for students. It’s stories like Ashton's that make it clear, as a Foundation and as a university, why we do what we do.💙💛
Meet Ashton Merrill, a biology student at #SDState, putting her classroom knowledge to work as a bioprocessing intern at Dakota BioWorx. Here, she's helping scale up bioproducts for mass production and gaining hands-on experience in the lab. 🔬
