SAAS is truly saddened by news of the passing of a NSW paramedic colleague today. The circumstances are incredibly tough to comprehend.  Our deepest condolences are with the paramedic’s loved ones and the entire emergency services family during this difficult time.

Congrats to Dan, our Director of Nursing who has been awarded an Australian Operational Service Medal. The AOSM recognises Dan’s contribution, alongside other ADF personnel, in the evacuation of Afghan people back to Aus. It’s an honour to have Dan as part of the SAAS family

We work around the state and around the clock. South Australia is large and often our teams need to cover a lot of ground – sometimes by air. There is no doubt that seeing a helicopter land and take off and help our patients is always a sight.

And they’re off! 🚑 32 new paramedics hit the roads this week as part of the 350 more ambos boost. Ryan, Hollie and Scarlett are some of the new faces to the Marion and Edwardstown teams. We know you'll all do a great job working together and supporting the metro community.
