On the International Day of Disabled People, our investigations reveal shocking failures from NHS employers in meeting their statutory duties around supporting disabled doctors in the workplace. In light of these findings, we are today calling on these employers to improve the level of support they provide through a series of measures. #DisabilityDay

So the Minister has decided to "bridge the funding deficit" by taking pay from the staff. Maybe next time I go to Tesco I'll ask the cashier to bridge my funding gap and part pay my bill. #Undervalued @mikenesbittni @healthdpt @BMA_NI @TheBMA

@doctor_oxford I'm all for pall care. But what about those who aren't actively dying but suffering tremendously? As an MS patient, if i lose my swallow i will not drink thickened tea or eat pureed meals. I will not be peg fed and exist. I deserve not to starve to death but to make a choice
