Many thanks to Jet 2 for giving our students an insightful careers talk yesterday afternoon. As the UK's 2nd largest tour operator, they educated us all about the Leisure and Tourism industry including what employment and apprenticeship opportunities are on offer. @jet2tweets

Thanks to Lauren Doherty BEM who gave our Year 12 students a thought-provoking talk about Road Safety yesterday. 15 years ago Lauren was distracted while crossing the road and was hit by a van leaving her paralysed. Her talks since have educated over 10,000 @roadsafetytalks

We are delighted to announce that Sam Shores has been awarded a William Akroyd Scholarship. He is the second student from the Associated 6th Form in two years to receive one of these historic and prestigious awards. Many congratulations to Sam on his outstanding achievement!

Our Year 13s enjoyed a visit to Oatlands Infants School this morning to experience a phonics lesson and help Reception and Year 1 pupils with their reading. A Level English Language includes study of the development of early literacy. Thanks for having us @Oatlands_Infant

Oxbridge Offers 2023 The Associated Sixth Form is delighted to announce that ten students have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge for September 2023. Each university has made five offers. We would like to congratulate the students on their outstanding achievement.

We were fortunate to welcome medical professionals from @HarrogateHospital to put our Year 13 medical and veterinary applicants through their paces in a mini multiple mock interview event. The students found this incredibly helpful in prepararion for their university interviews.
