Japan, South Korea and even China lately wasn't proficient in English. Did it stop them or deter their growth? And as far as language proficiency is concerned, even with it we haven't created a singke search engine or X, FB, Insta like platforms. So.....
@madhukishwar We compete at the Global level. If Indians knew only Hindi/ regions lang, there would be no Software industry. Our English knowledge gave us the edge over other Asian countries. Accept it. Indians would not be CEO of MS, Google , etc. They would be busy chanting JSR here.

@AmyMek This can be termed as judicial over reach. The Judiciary shouldn't over step in to the domain of the Legislature. A clear demarcation is necessary and no discretionary powers allowed. After all the elected representatives have a duty.
