Scrims is for practice. Scrims is to learn. Scrims is to develop your weaknesses. Bragging that you are doing well vs a team in a scrim is just a massive question mark and a half.

Scrim for improvement, not for score, it will help you get good
Be transparent with your team mates, express your concerns and likewise listen to theirs.

Announcing a major qualifier 5 days before it actually happens is a massive thonk and a half

When you coach, lead, or manage one of the most important phrases that you have to learn is "I don't know".
That doesn't mean you know less or your competency is lacking. No one person has all the answers.
If your environment doesn't let you say that, work on changing that.

Random thought. Named/Colored markers in replays (
@RocketLeague
). Doesn't have to be notes, but for example when sharing a replay you can mark stuff for a player or a coach with some info. Or mark for yourself what type of goal it was if you are editing montage, etc.

Pro tip for teams and players: Mini pads. Stop with the mentality of going for 100 boost pad all the time. Plan your route, dribble, rotation back, etc and include the mini pads. You will be in position more often, you can rotate faster and generally helps you keep a higher pace.

Real talk, why do teams refuse to play against a team with a sub? Like why do you have a sub then? He needs to improve as well, he needs practice and experience.

Can't stress enough how Important quality sleep, food and exercise are. I had issues with motivation and passion, I thought I was burnt out, but in reality I just didn't care for my body enough. It's so important, take the few extra steps, it does help.
