Help me... My sleep schedule is so gone...

Strap yourself in cuz this is gonna be a long one. Gonna get this out of the way right now and say Yoshi is not at fault here. Kinda. The primary issue people have with DT is that a lot of the stuff we were promised wasn't true. Remember when they said that this expac was supposed to be a vacation? Never happened. Remember when they said the Scions would be at each other's throats and we got the CHOICE to side with who we wanted? Never happened. A lot of people, yourself included, say we are there as a mentor to Wuk Lamat, but we never do anything as a mentor. We don't train her. Hell, she doesn't even take in any advice we give her. We are simply there to be the extremely powerful godslayer to clear Wuk's path, and nothing more. She doesn't lose anything aside from her father after Zoraal Ja becomes a psychopath. The story spends a monumental amount of time with her to the detriment of the plot, and the side characters are treated like background characters. The fumbled Zoraal Ja, they fumbled Krile, the fumbled Koana, all for the sake of Wuk's spotlight. It's also starting to become tiring cuz this is the 4th expansion in a row we've had to deal with a World Ending Threat. 3rd time in a row we get a 'villain' we're supposed to feel sorry for. It's getting tiresome. And this is just the story issues. Another MAJOR point of contention with this expansion is the drip feeding of content so far. Post DT, we've gotten 24-man, Arcadion 1st tier, Savage, 3 EXs, an Ultimate, and Chaotic. All raid based content. There's nothing to keep you going if you aren't Mid/Hardcore raider! Sure, next patch we're gonna get stuff for the more casual players, but that's in Late MARCH. The player numbers are dropping hard, we can't just ignore that. And don't even get me started with the housing system, when even WoW is doing it better. All in all, this expansion feels mis-marketed and lacking. Like it's A Realm Reborn 2.0 and not in a good way. I really hope the writers take the actual criticism to heart and learn from this, and we get content meant for all kinds of players a bit faster. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
