@JHTScherck I would have disagreed with this completely at the start of last year, but I’ve started using it day to day and I’ve fallen in love with it a little bit. Learning curve, for sure! But once you get around that, it’s a great tool!

@pedrodias Meh. If you have to ask ChatGPT anyway 😅 maybe people should just do their own research as to who to vote for rather than ask a LLM.

@SearchForRyan @ImSamThompson My Dad and Step-Mum have a combined income of around £125,000 pre-tax, and it’s 100% giving them an incredibly comfortable life. Lovely house, lots of holidays, meals out, three cars between two people. And they still have enough left over for both of them to retire early.

@nick_eubanks @ppcClickShark At the end of the day, Derek, it’s not even a violation of Google’s guidelines. In fact, they encourage citing sources. That’s all Nick’s doing here. Asking for sources. It’s no different to journalists getting quotes from SEOs and citing them with a link when they use it.

@nick_eubanks Of course I filled this out, Nick! 🫡 Hopefully my voice can help give a good insight that helps lots of SEOs (UK based and otherwise) until the next survey!

@BritneyMuller @CelestexLili I don’t know why this suddenly appeared on my feed, but this still stands today! And, for what it’s worth, it doesn’t seem to have happened yet! I still regularly have lightbulb moments in the shower, while driving, or doing something totally unrelated to marketing!

Me, to Google:
Google starts testing new Search ‘AI Mode’ internally – Here’s an early look at it 👀 Google Search is working on a new “AI Mode” that offers a “persistent place” to ask more “open-ended / exploratory questions” and get generated AI Overview-style responses. Google describes the new experience as “Search intelligently research[ing] for you – organizing information into easy-to-digest breakdowns with links to explore content across the web.” AI Mode is powered by a “custom version” of Gemini 2.0 that allows for “advanced reasoning and thinking capabilities.” Read: Via @gfiorelli1 🙌

@gaetano_nyc Would be interested to know which channel or channels you think will take over what SEO once was! I do agree that it is still one of the best marketing channels, but it has certainly evolved from what it was, and will continue to evolve.
