After tomorrow, OSU will have been leapfrogged by 6 teams
(TCUN, Washington, Oregon, FSU, Texas, Bama)
For losing to the
#1
seed on the road by 6 when they were driving to win and there was a controversial TD.
The B10/CFP format is so broken.
TTUN sniffs out a OSU play perfectly after OSU drove once down the field and driving again…
Guess who makes a guest appearance talking to the TTUN DC at the end of the video
Today’s a good day to point out this hit that basically ended JSN’s season was dirty af.
Targeting back of the head for no reason and he was already going down...
Can’t believe Brandon Joseph wasn’t suspended for this
I saw it somewhere else, but I would try to add DeQuan Finn from Toledo into the OSU QB room next year.
The kid is a dynamic playmaker with his arm and legs… gave OSU fits in 2022. Toledo is 11-1, ranked, and lapping the MAC.
Look at these highlights 👀
TTUN fans don’t get it: It’s not about being scared or soft.
We had to watch our rookie QB break NFL records, dissect UGA’s championship D, all while not score 30 twice on a team that illegally stole signs.
Pardon us for wanting your cheating asses punished.
10 thoughts from the year:
1. The OL has taken a big step back under Frye.
2. Tim Walton and Knowles are keepers. The corners and defense are night/day compared to 2 years ago this time.
3. The QBs look unprepared, OL issues or not. But not everything is on them.
Joe Brady is my guy for next OSU OC:
Currently 6-1 as interim Buffalo OC. (5-5 w/o him)
Will Howard’s NFL comp is Josh Allen lite
Lead an offense with elite WRs (2019 LSU) with Chase/Jefferson to a natty.
He’d get the most out of OSU’s QB/WR talent.
Bring him home.
OSU plays too many “good practice guys” who haven’t done anything on the field for multiple years, especially at WR/TE.
We saw more out of Noah Rogers in the spring game than 3 notable upperclassman who combined for over 1k snaps at WR/TE this year.
Best of luck,
@noah1rogers
TCUN was sloppy with this fake story about OSU sharing signs with Purdue.
Day confirmed tonight.
The proof is in plain sight in 1 small important detail.
Notice how each page says
*2020 game* NOT *2020 games*
Odd language to come from a team that didn’t play TTUN in 2020
I studied key differences between how teams defend TTUN and here’s the biggest thing I found in how to neutralize them:
DLine alignment is key.
First look at OSU last year. Notice the wide gap. TTUN almost always targeted this gap.
People are surprised by Styles at Nickel, but it’s a move totally geared towards beating ND, Wisc, and TTUN especially.
You can basically morph into a 4-3 or 4-2-5 out of your base defense.
Brilliant move by Knowles.
Hiring Coach Knowles always meant playing the long game getting 5⭐️s in the back 7. Watch guys ball out in his scheme this year, then they’ll come in flocks.
I can’t believe any high end recruit would sign with A&M after finding out what they did with Chase Bisontis, basically writing a deceptive contract that he meant could only earn NIL at A&M.
Would be a shame if McKinley found out 😉
Larry Johnson going after two blue-chip DL 👀
5⭐️ Dominick McKinley (
#27
NATL
#5
DL)
4⭐️ Dominic Kirks (
#137
NATL
#15
DL)
Texas A&M and Washington commits, respectively. I’m sorry for what I thought about you Larry Johnson.
#GoBucks
It appears that Blake Corum and Connor Stalions went into business together.
Remember how we were all wondering how Stalions could afford his sign stealing operation? I think we just found his sugar daddy.
You talk about missing juice and fire from the players and coaches?… you’re getting that fire from Bill O’Brien.
Here’s a classic clip of the story about him lighting into Brady for throwing an INT then blaming the WR
I analyzed Cam Ward and Dillon Gabriel vs. CFP defenses so you guys don’t have to.
First starting with Gabriel, you see a compact, willing runner. Not a great, but above average athlete who can break one if given a gap.
Don’t forget... getting the Tate commitment now would build momentum for the 13 top 150 guys OSU has visiting this weekend.
This thing could snowball 😈😈🥩🥩
OSU had 8 possessions vs ND. They scored on 3. It prob should’ve been 6.
Here’s a big factor in how 3 drives ended:
1. A Bad false start call (should’ve been neutral zone infraction)
2. Fryar PF for finishing a block
3. Bad spot (Hendy got to the 10)
Denzel’s 🧠 here:
Man, we don’t respect ❌ichigan… they’re tra… can’t say that.
We respect they knew all our pl… can’t say that.
We respect how much we about to beat that a… can’t say that either
Just laugh and say next question.
Tired: Devon Brown wearing 33 is a tribute to Sammy Baugh
Wired: Sneaking Jack Sawyer onto the field to play Wildcat QB in a critical short yardage situation 🤫🤫🤫
@GoBlue_TACOS
You don’t get it… tOSU has been fighting solo for the north in the CFB civil war for the better part of 20 years as the only real threat to SEC dominance.
Everyone in the south wants them to lose. The whole B10 wants them to lose. Media too.
Thus, Ohio Against The World.
@barstoolsports
Just like EVERY other OSU QB, including Justin Fields. They run that 1 read system at OSU and can’t make the pre and post snap reads in the NFL.
What’s crazy is Bama isn’t even a good TE school. Since the 2010 recruiting class:
Alabama:
4+⭐️ TEs: 7
Drafted: 2
OSU:
4+⭐️ TEs: 6
Drafted: 4
Crazy a kid committed for so long is willing to bail in no time.
Can’t wait for the rubber match.
And how did Georgia defend them?
Often a 5 man front with tight DL gaps. That wrecked havoc on any attempted combo blocks, pullers, and got tons of pressure in the pass game.
DL alignment is key.
While Ryan Day is on fire, Chris Holtmann is over here about to land the highest rated Ohio State B-ball recruit since DeAngelo Russell in 2014. That would put OSU 2nd in 2021 class ranks.
Sports are gonna be fun for the next few years, folks!
I rewatched the game, and I HATE to do this, but can’t ignore it. Here’s a thread of Marcus Hooker play yesterday.
TD1: Hooker bites down on the crosser instead of playing the deep man. This is a recurring theme.
June 247 Composites are out:
Big Updates
-Dijon Robinson jumped nearly 100 spots 👀👀
-Bryson Rodgers now a 4 ⭐️
-Siereveld’s grade jumped to .906 from .891
@MattFinkes
There are gonna be so many holes in the lone wolf theory. He’s spent the majority of his days watching illegal cell phone footage. The whole building knew.
Alright buckeye fans - week 1 is in the books!
Here’s a thread of some key plays from the game:
I’ve seen a bunch of people calling for a tighter RB rotation, and you’re right. Watch Teague take multiple steps to make a cut. Make 1 guy miss and you’re gone, but he can’t.
Big nuggets here, but no huge surprises:
➡️New OC is gonna be hired
➡️Hartline is safe
➡️New OC is gonna have say over other offensive coaches
➡️A change is coming on the defensive coaching staff too
@Ianfitzespn
@bigten
@HailStateFB
He was just interviewed... they asked him the question about his son playing in the SEC and he said his focus was on B10. Seems like not only is he a moron, but his priorities are completely backwards.
@jbook37
All this shit adds up:
1. Not going for it 2 times on 4th and short
2. Kyle always plays tight in 1Q
3. Ryan’s whole mindset has turned to avoiding mistakes instead of creating opportunities.
You look at Fields and Stroud now, and think were they coached too conservatively
@jbook37
@Buckeye_Legion
They can get on their moral high horse, but Tress/Urban were let go for less.
It’s funny they’ve sold their soul for their HC cuz they are so thirsty for wins after 20 years.
Friendly reminder that Craig Young ran a 10.58 100 in HS (.1 slower than Ted Ginn in HS).
He’s fast fast, and America’s gonna know his name in a couple weeks.
@BarstoolAlabama
Sure, you got a beef with Clemson.
But the previous 3 seasons, OSU scheduled a harder SOS than bama. This the first time since 2016 Bama’s played a really tough schedule.
Here’s where the Harbaugh didn’t know argument falls apart:
You’ve got a staffer in your facilities watching 100s of hours of illegal film for years
No one ever walked in and said “Watcha watching Connor?”
It’s either lack of institutional control or he knew. Pick your poison.
TTUN scored 42 points on 9 drives, and all 6 TD drives were from 65+ yard drives.
This loss is like 90% on the defense.
The Coombs hiring definitely set this place back.
@NotreDame_Prime
In control the whole game 😂😂😂
Wait until you find out the only times this shifted to ND was:
1. After OSU got a personal foul for finishing a block
2. A bad spot on 3rd down followed by Ryan Day gifting you a jet sweep
These docs just prove how inexact sign stealing is when you do it legally. Is salute PAP or go routes? What’s the sign for Gator? They’re different on each sheet.
Now imagine how exact you can get with film of each sign coupled with the play… you’ll know exactly what’s coming.
UPDATED STORY:
@sinow
is able to publish partially redacted documents showing how Michigan opponents decoded Wolverines signals and matched them with run and pass concepts.

@ByPatForde
:
The national media is overrating OSUs NIL impact in recruiting
OSU is in the sweet spot:
Top 5 defense last year
Top 3 offense 4 of the last 5 years
It’s one of the few teams in CFB that can legitimately sell both sides of the ball as elite
People are completely missing that
7. This team needs assholes, either coach or players. Too many nice guys with no juice and shankability.
8. S&C is archaic. I hear so much from players talking about eating Taco Bell, Donatos, Chic Fil-A. Do they know how Nick Bosa and Aaron Donald eat? Shows in 4th quarter.
REPORT:
Multiple unconfirmed reports have stated that Ryan Day broke down into tears, after seeing the weather forecast in Ann Arbor.
People within the program *REPORTEDLY* heard him tearfully yelling that “I can’t believe my job is on the line, and this is the forecast!”
@Chillindamos1
Ryan said they changed some things up - it’s not like changing a lock. You still need to keep it simple enough for teenagers to follow quickly without creating confusion.
Hell TTUN probably had footage of all the variations they would cycle through and could decode that.
@juliephayer
@ESPNSteinLine
I like how literally any all star in the league could've joined the Warriors and won a ring... you really proved the haters wrong🤔
After watching some more tape, I bet Hartman throws 2-3 INTs today
He forces balls he has no business throwing. He doesn’t have a pick yet, but that’s only because guys have dropped their chances
OH THE HUMANITY!!!!! VACATE ALL WINS AGAINST TEAMS PLAYING MICHIGAN!!!!! (Just kidding I'm not a pathetic Ohio fan or Cryin Ryan. Michigan Men don't make excuses. We just kick your ass)
4. Ryan is a shell of his 2019 self as a play caller. He doesn’t inspire confidence to his players with how conservatively he calls games.
5. I question how tough practice is these days. How do we not know before a game whether someone is game ready?
6. Parker Fleming got to go
@RossDellenger
@YahooSports
Soooo he knew, did nothing, then tried to conceal evidence? Less than 1 year after a coach fired for computer crimes.
Lack of institutional control.
I see the vision Day and Riley have with Will Howard. Guy is an accurate passer, tough, and an above average athlete.
He had to hit tight window throws all day at KSU… windows will open if he’s at OSU.
Look at these dimes 👀👀
