@implausibleblog My wife, British born, of Indian born parents, noted that since brexit most EU citizens have left UK, to be replaced with recent immigrants from Asia & Africa. She noted this probably wasn't the change that racist "take back border control" brexit voters hoped for.

@skaffman @hugorifkind I definitely remember plimsolls, lol. My family were poor when I was a child, so I wore plimsolls even at weekends and when some of my classmates would see me, they'd make fun of me because I wasn't wearing proper trainers like they were. It taught me not to mock poverty 👍

@doctor_oxford @NHSEngland I had an appointment with a "clinician" at the GP surgery, she told me it's impossible my medication could be causing severe nasal congestion and should put up with it. I ignored her & saw a GP l8r who said it's a common side affect because it's a cheap med, here's a better one.
