This is a flat-out lie. President Kagame was the main speaker last year. Speakers rotate annually and this year had a different speaker. Rwanda’s First Lady was invited to offer a prayer for the event. Claiming that President was "uninvited" is just petty nonsense.
President @PaulKagame was initially invited to the National Prayer Breakfast by the National Prayer Breakfast Foundation but was later uninvited due to his actions in the #DRC. Instead, he sent his wife in his place. We anticipate that President Kagame will continue to hide behind his wife when engaging with the U.S. for the foreseeable future. @RwandaInUSA
